Is this vehicle approved for Mauna Kea Summit?
| Yes. Our vehicles are approved for the Mauna Kea Summit Access Road. We built the fleet specifically to fill the gap left when mainstream rental companies prohibit driving on unpaved roads (gravel and lava roads) and high‑elevation driving. |
Can I remove the doors and roof for open‑air driving?
| You can remove the roof on the convertible soft top Jeeps and on the hard tops-the freedom panels over the driver and passenger side can be removed (and stored in the provided freedom panel storage bag). We provide videos to guide you through this. Doors cannot be removed. Sky One‑Touch roof is one‑button operation at your fingertips. |
How does the security deposit work?
| We do not collect a security deposit. Our return process is self-service, so after you drop off the vehicle, our team reviews the return photos, vehicle condition, and fuel level. If everything matches the pickup condition and fuel agreement, you're all set. Any applicable surcharge, such as damage, missing fuel, or excessive cleaning, will be billed based on the inspection and you will be notified of the expense along with supporting documentation. |
