Is this vehicle approved for Kauaʻi roads like Polihale and Waimea Canyon?
| Yes. Our Kauaʻi Jeeps are built for island driving beyond standard paved routes, including Waimea Canyon, Kōkeʻe Road, and the unpaved access road to Polihale State Park (when conditions allow). The mainstream rental companies restrict unpaved-road use, but our vehicles are prepared for approved Kauaʻi adventure routes on unpaved roads. Is this a real 4×4 rental or just a standard SUV?
Our Kauai Jeeps are all true 4x4 vehicles, not a standard crossover. Our Kauaʻi fleet includes vehicles with four-wheel-drive capability for island routes like Polihale beach access road, Waimea Canyon, Kōkeʻe, and north-shore scenic drives. The vehicle is selected for Kauaʻi’s changing road conditions, elevation shifts, beach-access roads, and rugged terrain where regular rental cars are not ideal.
Do you offer pickup or delivery for Kauaʻi rentals?

Can I remove the doors and roof for open-air driving?
You can remove the Jeep hard top freedom panels over the driver and passenger side (and store in the provided freedom panel storage bag). We provide videos to guide you through this. Doors cannot be removed. Sky One‑Touch roof is one‑button operation and most convenient for Kauai with the daily intermitteant raining. Open-air driving is especially popular for Kauaʻi coastal drives, Waimea Canyon lookouts, and sunny north-shore routes.
How does the security deposit work?
We do not collect a security deposit. Our return process is self-service, so after you drop off the vehicle, our team reviews the return photos, vehicle condition, and fuel level. If everything matches the pickup condition and fuel agreement, you're all set. Any applicable surcharge, such as damage, missing fuel, or excessive cleaning, will be billed based on the inspection and you will be notified of the expense along with supporting documentation.
